USE • Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning operation, unplug the appliance or disconnect it from the power supply. • All appliances equipped with an automatic icemaker and water dispenser must be connected to a water supply that only delivers drinking water (with mains water pressure of between 0. 17 and 0. 81 Mpa (1. 7 and 8. 1 bar)). Automatic ice-makers and/or water dispensers not directly connected to the water supply must be filled with drinking water only. • Use the refrigerator compartment only for storing fresh food and the freezer compartment only for storing frozen food, freezing fresh food and making ice cubes. • Do not store glass containers with liquids in the freezer since they may burst. Direct exposure to sunlight or installation near heat sources (radiators, cookers) will increase energy consumption and should therefore be avoided. To reactivate the refrigerator, press the same button (1) for 3 seconds. 7 Using the product Appliance’s alarms Open drawer alarm (upper draw only). The acoustic alarm will activate when the upper drawer has been left open. To completely deactivate the drawer open alarm, close the refrigerator drawer. Temperature alarm An increase in temperature inside the appliance, over +15°C, with the drawers closed, will cause the alarm to sound and a red warning LED (5) to flash. Pressing the Acoustic Alarm button (6), the alarm sound will silence, but the LED will continue flashing until the temperature decreases to the correct conservation temperature. Antibacterial filter alarm If on opening the drawer, the letters “AF” appear on the display (2), the antibacterial filter needs replacing (see section “Maintenance and cleaning”). To deactivate this alarm press the Acoustic Alarm button (6) for 5 seconds. Maintenance and cleaning Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operation, switch the product off by pressing button (1) on the control panel for 3 seconds, then unplug the appliance or disconnect it from the power supply. Cleaning the refrigerator Refrigerator defrosting is completely automatic. Droplets of water on the back wall behind the drawer, indicate that the automatic defrost phase is in progress. The defrost water is automatically run into a drain hole and collected in a container, where it evaporates Clean the defrost water drain hole regularly using the tool supplied, in order to ensure the constant and correct flow of defrost water.
